All 71 of our elementary schools with kindergartens will hold open houses on Wednesday, February 18.

Once you've selected the schools you'd like to visit, call them to see what time they'll be holding their events. See the list of elementary schools for phone numbers of our schools.

Choose a school near work, near daycare, near home, or with a program of special interest to your child. Through open enrollment and magnet programs, you can apply to have your children attend any Tucson Unified school. Use the School Choice application to apply. Members Sought for Communications Advisory Committee

Tucson Unified Schools is seeking members for a Communications Advisory Committee to provide input and feedback to the Communications & Media Relation Department on improving the district's internal and external communications; marketing district schools, programs and initiatives; maintaining a positive public image in the community; and strategies for progressive engagement with students, parents, employees and community members. The Communications Advisory Committee will include up to 12 people representing Tucson Unified Schools' stakeholder groups. Committee members will have the opportunity to offer advice on key district communications initiatives.

Applications are due Friday, Jan. 16. Committee members will be selected and notified by Monday, Feb. 2, 2009.
