Monitor Web Sites

why do some web sites scroll jerkily while others are smooth. Graphics card and monitor drivers are up to date
Its a combo of the power of your video card and how much it can buffer, your browsers memory management and the sites installed activex objects.
You may experience slowness due to the site running a graphic intensive “flash object”. While your internet connection is fast and is able to quickly download the large object for the website, your computer or browser is slowed down by its interpolation of it.
Sometimes websites are just poorly coded and use extremely too much code for simple web viewing.
Newer “open source” suites are trying to reduce some of this by using “cascading style sheets” so that repetitious code does not need to be inserted into a website which is more data for your web broswer to parse.
I strongly recommend Firefox for it’s memory management is more fault tolerant than that of IE.
